Community Involvement

As an active member of Malvern Rotary Club, I am always keen to get involved with any projects whether local or international. I have run a number of half marathons over the last few years and have raised over £10,000 from friends, family and customers for St Richards Hospice, Acorns Hospice and Malvern Community Hospital as well as Macmillan’s.

Inner Wheel

Kathryn is an active member of Malvern Inner Wheel who work closely with Malvern Rotary Club. Here she is serving coffee at Prospect View Surgery before dashing back to the office.

On 4th August Kathryn completed her second mighty hike marathon for Macmillan Cancer Support with the support of our son, Oliver. They walked 26 miles from Monmouth to Chepstow in a very credible 9 and a half hours. My role was chief supporter on the day, popping up at various locations with encouragement.

Community

BK Heating has sponsored a variety of events and people including holes at golf days, been the owner of several horses at fun race nights and helped numerous individuals with their own fund raising.

We believe in giving of time as much as money, a willing volunteer to shake a tin is sometimes more valuable than any cheque.
